The Moustache Sauna in Zurich must close at the end of 2023
No stone was left unturned and every effort was made, but after numerous setbacks and sometimes severe disappointments, including from the city of Zurich, the Moustache sauna not only has to close at its current address after 43 years, but no new location could be found in the city to reopen. YOUR VISIT
5 bath towels and a hot drink are included in the entry fee at Gay Sauna Zurich. You can decide for yourself how long you wish to stay; the entrance fee is valid for the whole day. If you have paid the normal price, you will receive a free re-entry pass on request, with which you can return to Moustache – Gay Sauna Zurich during the entire day without any additional costs – or continue your sauna at Mann-O-Mann in St. Gallen.
For your comfort, we have shower products, body lotion, hair gel, hair dryers, hair brushes, high quality condoms, water-based lubricants and disinfectants available.
There is a foot disinfection shower in the shower area. For reasons of hygiene we do not rent out bathing shoes – but high-quality flip-flops are available to purchase at the entrance if you so wish. At our bar we offer you a wide range of drinks and snacks at fair prices. There is also a smoker’s lounge available. Smoking is prohibited in the rest of the building.
You don’t need to bring anything with you to enjoy your stay at Moustache – Gay Sauna Zurich … except good humor, tolerance and your imagination.
CLEANLINESS
At Moustache, everything is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected daily. The entire facility is equipped with easy-to-clean materials and so can be efficiently kept clean and hygienic.
During opening hours, cleanliness is checked and maintained by means of regular inspections.
The bath towels provided are washed using a thermochemical disinfection procedure.
